Perfect Spot!!

The owners are very nice and easy to work with.

Dash's Den is homey and unpretentious; it has enough to make staying comfortable and enjoyable

This was the perfect spot for our short stay in Asheville. We were visiting our daughter and basically needed a place to sleep and shower. Dash's Den is extremely clean and located in a quiet neighborhood with quick and easy access to downtown. We didn't need to prepare any meals, but the kitchen appeared to have enough appliances to do simple cooking. Super easy check-in and check-out, plus quick refund of deposit. We will definitely stay here again.

Dash's Den is very conveniently located to anywhere we wanted to go in the Asheville area. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There's adequate storage for personal items during your stay. The kitchen is adequate for preparing meals for one or two. It's great to have a washer and dryer there. The baseboard heaters really kick out heat! A nice place to stay for a fraction of the price of a hotel or B&B.

My wife and I stayed for 8 nights. The property is in an older residential area which is very quiet. It also is on the west side of a hill, which means that the morning sun does not intrude when sleeping in - very nice. You pull your car into the garage and then step through the door into the apartment. When backing out you should lower your window so that you can hear if a car is approaching from the driver's side as you can see fairly well to the right. The price makes Dash's Den an attractive option if you aren't planning on staying at the apartment, but will use it as a base from which to tour the area. If you must have a mountain view when you open the curtains, this is not your place. However, downtown Asheville and the River Arts District are very convenient, as is I-240 and I-26, yet they are far enough away so that you never hear them at all. So, you're away from the busy highways, yet they are convenient. The refrigerator, washing machine and dryer work very well. The two-burner stove is a little tricky to use (turn on the timer to get the burners to heat). But, if you're cooking simple meals, like eggs for breakfast, etc. it does the job. The electric skillet works perfectly, as do the coffee maker, can opener and toaster. The microwave is a medium power unit, entirely adequate. The TV works fine; there are, however, only 5 channels, no cable. TV isn't good for you anyway... I can recommend the property to anyone who wants an inexpensive place to stay. It's compact and convenient. If you want fast food it's 6 blocks away, a little further and you can find sit-down restaurants, or you can with a little effort cook your own.

Highly Recommended!

Exactly what we needed!

Fun times

Spotlessly clean, well maintained, with everything one could ask for such as wifi, tv, and cooking appliances. Thank you for a lovely place to enjoy a mountain getaway. We plan on coming back for a longer stay next time and have raved to all of our friends about Dash's Den.

My husband and I were looking for a one-bedroom, dog-friendly place to stay for a 3-night visit in Asheville, and this was the perfect place for that. The apartment was clean and attractive. It was nice having our car so close (we parked in the garage) for being able to load and unload for our day-trips hiking--much easier than if we stayed at a hotel and had to go back and forth to a parking lot. The neighborhood was quiet and we felt safe. It was also a nice road to walk our dog up to the local school for potty times. There was a lot provided in the apartment: sheets, towels (bath and kitchen!), paper towels, coffee, tea, sugar, dishes, utensils, appliances like a microwave, hot plate, tea kettle, coffee maker, clothes washer and dryer, and more. I actually packed more than I needed to because I'm used to rental properties not providing as much. The location made it easy for us to take day-trips hiking at Pisgah or Dupont, then come back to freshen up before heading downtown for dinner. We didn't spend much time in the apartment beyond sleeping, eating breakfast, and resting before dinner, but that's just what we wanted. If I wanted to stay somewhere with a view to spend most of my time, I would look elsewhere, but this was a perfect place for the type of trip we wanted.

We arrived to find everything as described. It was very easy to find from the airport and really closer to town then we had expected. The owners were sweet and helpful. They take pride in their property with small touches like a bubbling water feature, garden statues and blooming flowers in all colors. The bed was soft and comfy. We didn't do any cooking but who would with all the great restaurants nearby? Everything was very clean. This location is a great place to use as a jump point to enjoy all that the area has to offer. We needed the washer and dryer after some muddy hikes and river tubing. Internet was not cooperative on any device other than our laptop.
